What We Do For Compliance

Your Data
As a family business, we fully respect your data and your right to privacy, which is why we promise never to sell your data. We only share it with companies and individuals necessary to provide the service(s) you request or provide necessary maintenance cover under your warranty or otherwise.

Inquiries and Estimates

By requesting an Estimate online, in our showrooms or at home we require a limited amount of information in order to fulfil your request. In doing so, you are also consenting to your personal data being shared with third parties for the purposes of fulfilling these requirements.

Personal data includes title, name, address, phone and email details

This data will be used to provide essential information and will be retained on files for the period which does not exceed 3 years, to facilitate easy recall of your estimates for you on request. You can contact us at any time as request removal of this information

We do not sell, trade or share your data with outside companies other than for the purpose of providing the service or estimate you have requested

All initial data for the purpose of processing enquiries and estimates will be sent via our website, which is hosted by: SingleHop and you can view their hosting policy at https://www.singlehop.com/legal/eu-data-privacy, to our internal email address which is held securely on in house computers that are password protected and accessed by authorised personal only.

Order and Contracts

By ordering and / or making an agreement, online, in our showrooms or at home St Neots Windows & Conservatories Ltd require a limited amount of information in order to fulfil your request and satisfying the requirements of the Competent Person Scheme for self-certification under the Building Regulations requirements, and other legal necessities. In doing so, you are also consenting to your personal data being shared with third parties for the purposes of fulfilling these requirements.

This data will be used to provide essential documentation and will be retained on file past the expiry of the guarantee period and up to 25 years. GDPR ruling does not set a specific time limit for consent and states that personal data can be held for legitimate reasons. SNWC believe that being able to provide our customers with details of their contract after the guarantee period offers a better service to them. The life of our products often exceeds the guarantee period and customers will often contact us to request replacements and ask for dimensions etc to be provided. You can request your data to be removed at any time before or after the guarantee period has expired.
